Mr. Alan Casemore was Executive Director of Southwest Institute, Tokyo, an instructors’ group specializing in research involving corporate learning, cross-cultural communication, management, and training issues. He is formerly an editor and assistant instructor for University of Maryland University College, International Business and Management Institute. He specializes in Business Psychology, Culture, Etiquette, and Communication. Mr. Casemore has over 20 years experience in Japan, teaching international and inter-cultural business communication skills.

Mr. Casemore’s unique teaching methods focus on holistic team communicative procedures, to include incorporating verbal and non-verbal skill sets, using emotional intelligence, and applying world-class communication skills to fit virtually any situation. Mr. Casemore teaches communication technique sets that are rarely offered or taught in traditional schooling, to include stage acting techniques, incorporating Ki-gung, breathing and Yoga exercises.

He has worked aboard a research vessel in the North Sea, and experienced a number of years in the British pop music industry, as a songwriter, director, and arranger. He has also taught English conversation, fluency, literature and grammar at all levels, from primary school to PhD, and is skilled at guiding students through TOEFL, TOEIC, and University entrance.

He earned a five-year degree from Leicester University Polytechnic School of Art and Technology, DeMontfort University. Mr. Casemore is a published author of several books.
