Aeon Kyushu has announced that it will overhaul its Aeon Mall Kashiihama for the first time since it opened in 2003 to compete with new commercial facilities going up on nearby Island City. The first phase of the renovations will conclude on Sept. 19 when Aeon will open what will be its largest prepared meal section. Renovations to sections leased to other tenants are scheduled to end in November and will include a new 160-seat food court.
