Samurai Japan Prepares for Premier 12 Tournament

Samurai Japan, the team representing Japan in the WBSC (World Baseball Softball Confederation) Premier 12 tournament starting on Nov. 8, started training on Tuesday (Nov. 3) in Fukuoka City. The Premier 12 is a newly established international baseball tournament, in which the top 12 countries and regions compete once every four years. The team will have a practice match against Puerto Rico on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome, in preparation for their opening game on Nov. 8 at Sapporo Dome against South Korea.
