A 9m diameter dome planetarium will be erected on the Sun Plaza stage inside Canal City Hakata. Inside the latest projector technology from Konica Minolta will reproduce a breathtaking starry sky, along with a stereophonic sound. But that’s not all. You can also see three popular movies including: “Sekai Isan Uchuu he no Inori (World Heritage: A prayer to the Universe)”, “Hoshi no Shima ni, Negai wo Komete (A Wish to the Star Island)”, and “One Piece: The Planetarium”! The best thing about this event? It is free! You just need to show a receipt from a Canal City shop or restaurant to get in. Schedule for films on the official website.
