Historical zen temples and gardens in the Hakata area are beautifully illuminated for this event. In between venues there are areas with mini-concerts and stalls selling food, drinks and items. It’s a lot of fun just to wander around! Entry requires one ticket per venue. Books of tickets can be purchased at convenience stores at a discount in advance.
[Special! Projection Mapping at Former Reisen Elementary School] Returning to Hakata Light Up Walk this year after much praise in 2012, a projection mapping display will be held at the Former Reisen Elementary School. Special projection technology is used to turn objects and buildings into a display surface for artistic video projection.
