Hop on down to the fluffiest, most floppy-eared event of the weekend: Lapin Club’s annual usagi-san (rabbit) contest. Set your kawaii-meter to full capacity for the ‘yobina race’, in which the best bunny is the first to respond to its owner’s call. Carrot-hungry critters can also nibble it out in a competition to see who finishes their food first. Capacity is set to 50 rabbits, who receive a free vet check-up on the day. To enter your pet, join Lapin Club first by sending 10 ¥80 stamps, a photo of your rabbit and details of its age, gender and details of any past illnesses to Lapin Club, 〒810-0041 2-4-31-401, Daimyo, Chuo-ku.
