(English) Hard Rock Cafe is celebrating Mexico this May, with month-long Cinco De Mayo specials! Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for “fifth of May”) is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride held on May 5, in the United States and Mexico. Hard Rock Cafe is extending the celebrations across the whole month of May, with limited menu items including the “Mexican Burger” and the “Melon Rita” – a melon flavour margarita. Don’t miss the live music show on May 18, when Love FM’s DJ Darrell Smith (AKA “Piano Man”) will play two sets at Hard Rock Cafe. Admission is free!

(English) French classical music festival La Folle Journée de Tosu 2013 will be held in Tosu, Saga Prefecture during Golden Week. La Folle Journéewas originally born in 1995 in Nantes- a port city in northwestern France. Now the festival is held in cities all over the world. The theme of the Tosu edition is “Mon ami Mozart – My Friend Mozart”. The festival officially runs from May 5~6, however there are lots of mini-concerts taking place around Tosu, Fukuoka and Kurume in the lead-up to the festival. Ticket prices vary per performance, and 16 of the shows are free of charge! Enjoy the sounds of first-class music at a reasonable price.
