菅原道真公の御神霊にささげる神事。楼門前の心字池の周辺に千本のロウソクを献燈。ロウソクの揺れる光が水面に浮かび上がり、その景色は幻想的で美しい。千灯明で心が研ぎ澄まされる夏の一夜を大切な人と過ごしたい。

夏の風物詩として親しまれている花火大会。今年は37回目を迎え「動心」をメインテーマに約8千発の色とりどりの花火が打ち上げられる。河川敷で涼しい夜風にふかれながら、美しい花火に酔いしれよう。
