A fire broke out at the pine forest along Ohara Beach in Imazu, Nishi-ku on Aug 4. The blaze is thought to have been started by a discarded cigarette. The fire department is asking the public to be careful with cigarettes, fireworks and barbecues. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun Aug 8
