Fukuoka had announced plans to operate ATMs 24 hours a day on weekdays starting on August 17. The move coincides with the a scheduled update to the bank’s online banking service. The bank has had an online service since 1999, and this upgrade, which adds smartphone-compatible menus, is the first in eight years.
