Fukuoka and Bordeaux (France) recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the sister city relationship. For the occasion Fukuoka’s Mayor Takashima traveled to Bordeaux to meet with Alain Juppe, Mayor of Bordeaux, and attended an international trade fair there. During the trip, Mr. Juppe revealed that he would return the visit, with plans to come to Fukuoka this coming November.
