ISIT Creates Educational Games for the Visually Disabled

The Institute of Systems, Information Technologies, and Nanotechnologies (ISIT) in Fukuoka City is involved in the creation of a national network for teachers of the visually disabled, and the development of teaching material for that group to convey to those students the joy of science study. They have just invested 90 million yen in a three-year project with that objective. Most of the education of the visually disabled centers on the humanities because they are not able to see graphs and charts, or easily conduct experiments.
