Itoshima passion fruits have been selected for use on Aru Ressha, JR Kyushu’s food-themed luxury train that will begin operating on August 8. Yuki Narisawa, the owner of a high-end restaurant in Minami-Aoyama in Tokyo, was appointed to select the local ingredients and wares that will be used on the train. The growers of the organic passion fruits , which are raised in unheated greenhouses, said they were “highly honored” to have their fruits selected for use on board.
