Kyushu University announced plans to create an R&D center for robots for use in medical treatment. The center will be part of their university hospital. In addition to R&D, it will conduct clinical trials and treatment experiments. The project will be conducted with the cooperation of machinery and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and receive financial assistance from the government.
