The Kyushu Bureau of Telecommunications released a report on poor terrestrial digital television reception in the region’s mountainous areas. The bureau said such households totaled 12,787 as of the end of March. Plans call for the situation to be resolved this year with the installation of high-performance antennas or the implementation of other measures.
