Ryohin Keikaku, the parent company of Muji, has announced it will open the largest Muji store in Kyushu in Daimyo along Tenjin Nishi-dori Ave. Slated to open Mar. 5, 2015, the new Muji will span five floors of the Daimyo Square building, which is currently under development. It will have a 65-seat cafe on the 2nd floor. Covering 275 m2 of floor space, the Muji Daimyo store will be the second largest in Japan after the Yurakucho store in Tokyo.While the Muji in Canal City has more furniture and general merchandise, the Daimyo shop will focus primarily on apparel.
