Do you want to build a snowman or throw a snowball at someone? On Dec. 12, snow began to fall in the center of Tenjin, as snow making machines were turned on in front to Fukuoka City Hall to build up a base of fluffy white stuff. A 30m x 20m snowfield with 30 cm of depth will be made to serve as a big playground for people of all ages to enjoy. Snow huts, slides and snowball fight areas will be created too. Food and drink stalls, as well as live performances are also scheduled.
