Japan Weather Association predicts that the airborne pollen level (Japanese cedar, hinoki cypress) of August 2015 in Kyushu will only be 50% of the average value (2005~2014). This is thanks to the influence of the cool summer with many rainy days we had. Also, summer had very few daylight hours, which prevented the flower buds’ growth. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun 10/8
