Now’s the best season to view marigolds at Nokonoshima Island Park (Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City). Over 30,000 yellow and orange lovely flowers are coming into bloom. And what’s more, visitors are allowed to freely pick the marigolds and take them home. “Please come and pick marigolds on a sunny day,” say the park staff. Bring your own scoop and gloves, and take your favorite marigold home! Viewing season is until mid-July.
