Honda Motors revealed it would reduce overall motorcycle and motorbike production at its Kumamoto plant by 40% and shift its focus to the domestic market. New plans call for a 30% increase in production for Japanese customers, which would then account for two-thirds of the plant’s total output. One reason for the decision was the lagging drawdown of overseas product inventory.
