Senior Vice President of Fukuoka-based real estate developer Fukuoka Jisho Ichiro Enomoto has been named the company’s next president. By choosing the 40-year-old Enomoto, eldest son of Chairman Kazuhiko Enomoto, Fukuoka Jisho has injected some youth into the uppermost ranks of its management, a move the company believes will create an opportunity to a enact a new growth strategy ahead of the 20th anniversary of Canal City Hakata next year. The younger Enomoto has wide-ranging experience in building and housing projects as well as the company’s finance department. With an eye on the future, Fukuoka Jisho has also become active outside of the prefecture, expanding its business into Tokyo and placing a bid (which it did not land) for a major development project in Kagoshima City.
